Day 1: Arrival in Kochi and Transfer to Thattekad<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Drive to Thattekad, which is about 1.5 hours away from the airport.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary Thattekad in the afternoon for birdwatching.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The sanctuary is home to over 300 species of birds including the Indian pitta, Malabar grey hornbill, white-bellied treepie, Asian fairy blue-bird, Hill Myna, Malabar starling, Malabar Trogon, variety of Cormorants, greater racket-tailed drongo, Malabar grey-hornbill, green bee-eater, grey and red junglefowl, lesser whistling duck and the Sri Lankan frogmouth..<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Drive to Munnar, which is about 3 hours away from Thattekad<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
